There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing an x470 motherboard. You might not be able find the perfect one for your needs because there is no such thing as "the ultimate" gaming or budget board, but each manufacturer has something that will fit into both budgets and preferences differently depending on what's most important in this situation - performance versus price tag? Features offered vs extra goodies included with purchase cost (i..e., game card)? It all depends!

So I wanna upgrade my motherboard. Here are my current specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
MB: ASUS Prime x470 Pro
GPU: Gigabyte 1070ti
RAM: 32G of RGB Corsair 3000mhz
Storage: 2TB HDD, 1TB SSD
PSU: EVGA Supernova 650W 80Gold
Would the MSI B550 be considered a good budget upgrade? Also wanna know if all my other parts(RAM, PSU, CPU) look optimal for that motherboard for the time being. Thanks!

If you’re looking for budget, there’s no point upgrading, your motherboard is also totally fine for what your specs are

Hi building a PC with a MSI X470 gaming plus motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5 3400G processor and M.2 SSD.
It seems quite slow to Post, just get black screen for about 15 seconds, it does boot windows 10 quickly though.
I’m using UEFI Boot in the BIOS settings.
Running latest released BIOS.
Anything else I can do to improve this?
Thanks Tony

Disable any apps that open when windows boots up, check cpu speeds and ram speeds to make sure everything is working correctly
